Our Story

Better Transseptal for All.

ElectroWire Medical was founded to provide “Better Transseptal for All,” improving inter‑atrial septal puncture and transseptal device delivery for the benefit of patients and the people taking care of them.

Early device development was completed in Temecula, California, and manufacturing operations and headquarters are now established in Lexington, South Carolina. Our first system, the LightningWire™ Transseptal Puncture System, is FDA 510(k) cleared for use in minimally invasive left heart procedures which may include catheter ablation, left atrial appendage occlusion, and transcatheter mitral valve procedures.
